At StarkLight Press we love poetry.

We believe in Poetry. We believe in its ability to heal ourselves, each other, and the world.

It’s magic, plain and simple.

So, to bring a little more good magic into the world, we are hosting a 24 Poetry Marathon for any interested poets.

(for those who don’t have the time for a full marathon, you’re also welcome to join in for a half marathon)

What is a poetry marathon? It’s a block of time where, once every interval, you write a poem, either based on a prompt given by the organizers or based on whatever comes to mind.

Our First Annual StarkLight Press Poetry Marathon is an online event starting at 9am PST on August 20, and goes until 9 am PST August 21.
